Pursuant to Article 11 of Law no. 119/2014 “On the right to information, steps to be followed to file a request for information are:
- The request for information is made in writing and delivered in person, by mail or e-mail, containing the exact identity of the applicant and his signature. In any case, the request is registered in the Register of Requests and Responses, provided in Article 8 of Law no. 119/2014 “On the right to information”.
- The request for information must contain: a) first name and last name of the applicant; b) the postal or electronic address where the information is requested to be sent; c) a description of the information required; ç) the format in which the information is preferred; d) any information that the applicant deems may assist in identifying the requested information. 5. If the request for information does not specify the format in which the information is requested, it shall be provided in the most efficient manner and at the lowest cost to the public authority.
