Today, on 19.01.2024, at 10:00, the Appeal Chamber held the public hearing of case (JR) 33/2023, dated 20.07.2023, pertaining to the appeal of the Public Commissioner against decision no. 671, dated 14.06.2023, of the Independent Qualification Commission, related to the assessee Ylli Bashaj.
In view of the tasks assigned during the previous hearing, the Public Commissioner held her position with respect to the International Monitoring Operation findings and opinion. The Public Commissioner acknowledged the content of the findings and addressed them in the appeal grounds.
When questioned by the presiding judge, the assessee stated that he shall make a statement regarding the position of the Public Commissioner and the case in its entirety during the submission of the final conclusions of the case.
Once the parties declared that they had no procedural requests, the trial panel decided to close the judicial investigation of the case, inviting the parties to submit their final conclusions at the next hearing, scheduled to take place on 26.01.2024, at 12:00.
The public hearing shall take place at the premises of the Appeal Chamber, at Boulevard “Dëshmorët e Kombit”, no. 3, Tirana.
