On 15.02.2023, the Appeal Chamber has registered case (JD) no. 1/2023, with petitioner Shtjefën Lleshi and subject:
– Challenging the High Judicial Council (formerly, HCJ), for the Disciplinary Procedure (JD) decision no. 100, dated 16.07.2014.
– Finding it a decision contrary to the law, in violation of legal and constitutional provisions (supported on the legal norms of the time, and the legal norms in force), for disciplinary proceedings (JD) against judges, and its repealing as an unlawful decision.
– Obligation of the High Judicial Council (former HCJ), to pay to the petitioner Shtjefën Lleshi the salary in the amount of 50%, as well as the accrued interest.
On 16.02.2023, the Appeal Chamber held the lot procedure for the appointment of the rapporteur and the members of the preliminary review panel.
According to the lot procedure, the preliminary review panel shall be composed of the following members:
