The adjudication panel of the Appeal Chamber, composed of judges, Rezarta Schuetz, chairperson, Sokol Çomo, case rapporteur, and Ardian Hajdari, Ina Rama, Luan Daci, members, announced today the decision on case (JR) no. 34/2018, dated 13.11.2018, corresponding to the appeal of the Public Commissioner against decision no. 62 dated 03.08.2018 of the Independent Qualification Commission related to the transitional re-evaluation of the assessee Artur Malaj.

At the conclusion of the adjudication, pursuant to Article 61, paragraph 3, and Article 66, paragraph 1, letter ‘b’, of Law no. 84/2016 “On the transitional re-evaluation of judges and prosecutors in the Republic of Albania”, the adjudication panel unanimously decided:

  1. To amend decision no. 62 dated 08.2018, of the Independent Qualification Commission and to dismiss from office the assessee Artur Malaj.
  2. This decision is final and effective immediately.
