Announcement of decision

The trial panel of the Appeal Chamber, consisting of judges Ina Rama, presiding, Natasha Mulaj rapporteur, Albana Shtylla, Rezarta Schuetz, Sokol Çomo members, continued the hearing in camera, with the aim of making a final decision, of case (JR) no. 72/2021, dated 23.11.2021, pertaining to the appeal of the Public Commissioner, with assessee Julian Çafka, against decision no. 442, dated 14.09.2021 of the Independent Qualification Commission, following the announcement of the results of the final exam by the School of Magistrates.

At the conclusion of the trial, the trial panel, pursuant to Article 59, paragraph 1, of Law no. 84/2016, “On the transitional re-evaluation of judges and prosecutors in the Republic of Albania”, by a majority vote, decided:

• Confirmation in office of the assessee Julian Çafka.

This decision is final and effective immediately.
