The trial panel of the Special Appeal Chamber, consisting of judges, Ina Rama, presiding, Sokol Çomo, rapporteur, Mimoza Tasi, Natasha Mulaj, Rezarta Schuetz, members, announced the decision on case (JR) no. 53/2024, dated 20.12.2024, pertaining to the appeal of the assessee Xhemal Saliaj against decision no. 805, dated 07.10.2024 of the Independent Qualification Commission.

At the conclusion of the trial in camera, the trial panel, pursuant to Article 66, paragraph 1 (b) of Law no. 84/2016, “On the transitional re-evaluation of judges and prosecutors in the Republic of Albania”, by a majority vote, decided:

  1. The amendment of decision no. 805, dated 07.10.2024, of the Independent Qualification Commission and confirmation in office of the assessee Xhemal Saliaj.
  2. This decision is final and effective immediately.
