The Appeal Chamber held on Wednesday, 12.06.2019, at 10:00 h, the public hearing of case (JR) no. 30/2018, dated 06.11.2018, corresponding to the appeal of the Public Commissioner against decision no. 43 dated 18.07.2018 of the Independent Qualification Commission related to the transitional re-evaluation of the assessee Ms. Nertina Kosova.
During today’s hearing, the Public Commissioner submitted the grounds of appeal on the asset criterion and requested the opening of the investigation on the audit of the source of income of the creation of the assets of the assessee and persons related to her.
The assessee, Ms. Nertina Kosova, submitted her objections to the appeal grounds of the Public Commissioner, submitted written acts, which she requested the adjudication panel to be admitted in the capacity of evidence, to the function of the object of the judicial proceedings, as well as requested the Appeal Chamber to uphold decision no. 43 dated 18.07.2018 of the Independent Qualification Commission.
The Public Commissioner stated that with regard to the formal point of view, the submitted written acts met the legal requirements to be admitted in the capacity of evidence.
In order to provide the necessary time to the Public Commissioner to take a stand with regard to the content of these acts, the adjudication panel decided to adjourn the hearing on Friday, June 21, 2019, at 10:00 h, where the panel shall make a statement whether to admit as evidence the written documents submitted by the assessee.
The public hearing shall be held at the premises of the Appeal Chamber, at: Bulevardi “Dëshmorët e Kombit”, nr.3. Tirana.
