The Appeal Chamber held on 09.07.2025, at 14:00, the public hearing of case (JR) 8/2023, dated 24.02.2023, pertaining to the appeal of the Public Commissioner against decision no. 600, dated 19.12.2022 of the Independent Qualification Commission, related to the assessee Robert Kote.
Following the previous hearing held on 03.07.2025, the representative of the Head of the Special Prosecution Office, Mr. Klodian Braho, questioned by the trial panel whether he, as the appellant, has withdrawn his appeal based on the procedural provisions, clarified his final request.
He stated that the final request is not to waive from the appeal, but that the trial panels considers the appeal grounds, that the objections and evidence administered during the proceedings be taken into consideration and tried by it, in order that the control of the IQC decision by the Chamber is not made impossible. Finally, the representative of the Head of the Special Prosecution Office requested the upholding of decision no. 600, dated 19.12.2022 of the Independent Qualification Commission and confirmation in office of the assessee, considering it a fair resolution of the case.
After hearing the final request of the appellant, the trial panel decided to close the judicial review of the case and withdrew in chambers to make the final decision, which it shall announce on 18.07.2025, at 09:00.
The public hearing shall take place at the premises of the Appeal Chamber, at Boulevard “Dëshmorët e Kombit”, no. 3, Tirana.
