On 07.10.2025, at 09:30, the Appeal Chamber held the public hearing on case (JR) 3/2024, dated 18.01.2024, pertaining to the appeal of the assessee Blerina Muço against decision no. 711, dated 01.11.2023 of the Independent Qualification Commission.
The trial panel heard the assessee, Ms. Blerina Muço, as she submitted her explanations regarding the factual situation related to the payment of tax liabilities for the income generated by the related person, her spouse. Along with the submissions, the assessee filed several documents, which she requested the trial panel to collect them as new evidence in order to prove, according to her, the legitimacy of the sources of generation of income of her spouse.
Subsequently, the assessee responded to several questions of the case rapporteur and one of the members of the trial panel.
After being consulted, the trial panel, by a majority vote, decided to accept as evidence the acts filed by the assessee, Ms. Muço, and given that the latter stated that she had no other procedural requests, decided to close the judicial investigation of the case.
Finally, the assessee requested the Appeal Chamber the amendment of decision no. 711, dated 01.11.2023 of the Independent Qualification Commission, and her confirmation in office.
Accordingly, the trial panel decided to close the judicial review of the case and withdrew in chambers to make the final decision, which it shall announce on 13.10.2025, at 15:00.
The public hearing shall take place at the premises of the Appeal Chamber, at Boulevard “Dëshmorët e Kombit”, no. 3, Tirana.
