On 12.05.2023, the Appeal Chamber held the lot procedure for the replacement of judge Sokol Çomo, appointed as judge of the Preliminary Review Panel of case (JD) no. 1/2023, dated 15.02.2023, pertaining to the appeal of the petitioner Shtjefën Lleshi against the decision of the High Judicial Council (formerly HCJ), for the Disciplinary Proceeding (JD) No. 100, dated 16.07.2014.

The replacement of judge Sokol Çomo was made following the judge’s request to be recused from the trial of the case, a request accepted unanimously by decision no. 1, dated 11.05.2023, by the Meeting of Judges of Appeal Chamber composed of judges: Albana Shtylla (president), Natasha Mulaj, Ina Rama, Rezarta Schuetz and Mimoza Tasi (members). The panel of judges of the Preliminary Review Panel of case (JD) no. 1/2023, dated 15.02.2023, shall be composed of the following judges:
