Today, on 20.06.2022, at 14:00, the Appeal Chamber held the public hearing of case (JR) 14/2021, dated 30.03.2021, pertaining to the appeal of the Public Commissioner against decision no. 325, dated 14.12.2020, of the Independent Qualification Commission, related to the assessee Rilinda Selimi.
The Public Commissioner Irena Nino, in the course of the submission of the final conclusions, following the evaluation of the administered evidence, stated that the assessee failed to reach a reliable level of the asset assessment and background assessment, even though she managed to prove that she is not in found in a conflict of interest situation. In conclusion, the Public Commissioner requested the Chamber the amendment of decision no. 325, dated 14.12.2020, of the Independent Qualification Commission and the dismissal from office of the assessee Rilinda Selimi.
The assessee, during the submission of her final conclusions held that there are no factual circumstances in the Public Commissioner’s appeal upon which action would be taken against decision no. 325, dated 14.12.2020, of the Independent Qualification Commission. In the end, the assessee requested the Chamber that, on the basis of the judicially proven situations, to reject the appeal grounds and uphold decision no. 325, dated 14.12.2020, of the Independent Qualification Commission.
After hearing the final conclusions of the parties, the trial panel withdrew to make the final decision, to be announced on 22.06.2022, at 14:00.
The public hearing shall take place at the premises of the Appeal Chamber, at Boulevard “Dëshmorët e Kombit”, no. 3, Tirana.
