The Appeal Chamber held on 13.12.2022, at 10:00, the public hearing of case (JR) no. 50/2020, dated 18.11.2020, pertaining to the appeal of the Public Commissioner, Ms. Irena Nino, against decision no. 257, dated 12.06.2020, of the Independent Qualification Commission, related to the assessee Miranda Andoni.
The Public Commissioner, during the submission of the appeal grounds, requested the Chamber the reopening of the judicial investigation of the case and, eventually, the administration of the necessary evidence, holding that the overall evaluation of the three criteria by the Chamber may lead to an assessment different from the one reached by the Independent Qualification Commission.
In response to the grounds of the appeal, the assessee submitted several new documents, which she requested the court to be administered as evidence.
After being consulted, the trial panel decided to reopen the judicial investigation of the case, accepting as evidence all the documents filed by the assessee during today’s hearing, but one document that failed to be submitted in the form required by law.
Once the parties stated that they had no other procedural requests, the trial panel decided to close the judicial review of the case and invited the parties to present their final conclusions.
Since the Public Commissioner requested necessary time to prepare the final conclusions, the panel decided to postpone the hearing on 19.12.2022, at 10:00.
The public hearing will take place in the premises of the Appeal Chamber, at Boulevard “Deshmoret e Kombit”, no. 3, Tirana.
