The Appeal Chamber held today, on 23.12.2020, at 10:00 h, the public hearing of the case (JR) 39/2019, dated 04.09.2019, which corresponds to the appeal of the assessee Evelina Qirjako against decision no. 178, dated 08.07.2019, of the Independent Qualification Commission.
The assessee, Mrs. Qirjako, submitted her preliminary request to the panel to suspend the review of her case until the final resolution of the lawsuit she filed with the Administrative Court of Appeal, as according to her, the decision that this court shall make is directly related to the review of the case in the Appeal Chamber.
After withdrawing for consultation regarding the request of the assessee, based on Article 50 of Law 84/2016 “On the transitional re-evaluation of judges and prosecutors in the Republic of Albania”, the trial panel, by a majority vote, decided to request to the Tirana Administrative Court of Appeal information on the status of the adjudication of the case of Mrs. Evelina Qirjako and continue the examination of the case in the Appeal Chamber, after receiving this information.
In these circumstances, the trial panel decided to adjourn the hearing until 21.01.2021, at 10:00h.
The public hearing will take place in the premises of the Appeal Chamber, at: Boulevard “Dëshmorët e Kombit”, no.3. Tirana.
